Samsung Electronics Singapore has announced strategic partnerships with Challenger Technologies, Geniebook, and TeachingTutor.ai to transform education through AI-powered technology.
These collaborations were formalized during Edutech Asia 2024 and aim to deliver scalable and secure edtech solutions tailored to the needs of educators and students in the digital age.
The partnerships focus on enhancing AI adoption in the classroom, leveraging Samsung’s advanced devices and government-grade Knox security. Initiatives include workshops and multimedia resources to boost AI literacy and support educators in teaching essential 21st-century skills.
Samsung’s President, Dennis Jang, emphasized the importance of such collaborations, stating, “The age of artificial intelligence has accelerated the demand for suitable technology to build relevant 21st-century skills, including AI and digital literacy. By partnering with like-minded organizations, we are well placed to offer AI-ready solutions for the education sector with our devices and our partners’ comprehensive offerings.”
Samsung’s collaboration with Challenger Technologies focuses on integrating mobile AI devices into learning environments, supported by workshops to engage thousands of educators and students. Challenger’s Managing Director, Loo Pei Fen, described the effort as vital to addressing the growing demand for secure AI tools in education.
The partnership with Geniebook introduces personalized e-learning solutions powered by Samsung’s Galaxy tablets and S Pen, secured with Knox. Geniebook’s CEO, Neo Zhizhong, highlighted the significance of scaling customized learning experiences with AI, calling the collaboration a step toward redefining education for mobile-first learners.
Samsung’s work with TeachingTutor.ai addresses connectivity challenges in schools by enabling AI-powered platforms to function offline. TeachingTutor.ai’s Chief Investment Officer, Harry Katsiabanis, called the partnership a breakthrough, allowing students to learn without reliance on constant internet access.
These efforts are supported by Samsung’s flagship edtech offerings, including the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Knox platform, ensuring secure device management and efficient AI integration. By combining its hardware with partners’ expertise, Samsung is out to create future-ready classrooms, empowering educators to inspire the next generation with AI-driven tools.
